Merry Christmas

Christmas is the best time of the year. Family, friends, special Advent services, the Sunday School kids (who are the cutest) and the choir. It is always a lot of work to set up the house (and the church) but is all worthwhile when the kids and the grandkids come home. I have taken a break from the stone that sharpens the pen to reflect on the birth of Christ, his coming down to earth as both man and God to save humankind.

I pray that you and you family feel the true spirit of Christmas

The true spirit of Xmas you say. That means love, joy, peace and hope.
Christ identified with the least( the poor, orphans, widows, oppressed) and until WE do the same our Christmas celebration will not honour Christ. We are partners with him in this work.
May 2009 see us do so......
